This is the exciting part

I went to visit a job in production last week that has just started demo. This is the exciting part, but can typically be one of the most overwhelming parts for clients. We are doing a 4' deep 11' wide bump out to allow for a well functioning kitchen with an island. It is amazing what adding just 4 feet can do to a space........... This will be another Dura Supreme Kitchen!!!

These clients are the original owners of the house, so I can only imagine what it is like to see your ceilings ripped off, holes dug in your yard, and your kitchen demolished.

Now these holes are much deeper than we anticipated. Unfortunately we can not control mother earth. This is one of those unforeseen events that we now have to call an engineer in. Although this can cause some stress for the clients, if I were in their shoes I would be comforted in knowing that my contractor was doing everything in their power to do it right and safe, instead of fast with potential for issues down the line.
