Excitement is brewing :)

I have 3 jobs in production right now! This is the most exciting time for me as a designer. I love getting to see all my hard work be built. No matter how good the design is, nothing will look good with a bad carpenter. I am so grateful to work with a company that has great carpenters!

Occoquan Kitchen- This job is a kitchen pull and replace. (That's remodeling lingo for pulling a kitchen out and replacing it exactly as it was - a face lift per say). While the island is changing shape the basic appliance layout and sink locations are in the same locations that I am calling this a pull and replace. We had to redesign the island more times than I can remember....but in the end we have this really cool custom cart "hidden" in the island. I can not wait to get out to the job site and see how it is coming together.

Alexandria Kitchen- This kitchen will be a HUGE transformation. It started with 36" bulk heads that we are taking out, and we are adding a wet bar to an area that currently has a furniture buffet. I love the taste of this client as well and can not wait to see it completed!

Fairfax Kitchen Addition- This house is owned by the original builders. They are the sweetest couple, with simple taste. They are doing a wood kitchen which is really refreshing to do! Adding on 3' of space is going to be major for this job. As it is just starting I won't be making a visit out for a few weeks yet, but I am on the edge of my seat!

As I visit each job I will be sure to take pictures and post updates/before and afters/ maybe even 3d perspectives vs reality photos....... ahhhh it's all so exciting!!!!!!!!!
